The SaeboStretch is a dynamic resting splint, the SaeboReach and SaeboFlex are the active grasp and release splints. These tools were pioneered in the USA and have been available in the UK since 2003 through G Blakey Limited.
They can be used by people who have had a Stroke, Head Injury/Acquired Brain Injury, Incomplete Spinal Cord Injury, Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy and Brachial Plexus Injury.
A complete assessment of the shoulder, elbow and hand is required to see if the Saebo range of Orthotics is suitable. G Blakey Limited offers a full FREE assessment service, a full fitting service and a range of Physiotherapy Services with the Orthotics: for example
- Intensive 5 day Physiotherapy Services input (each day would consist of a minimum of four SaeboReach or SaeboFlex sessions, one Neuro Muscular Electrical Stimulation session and a SaeboGlide session
- Hourly Physiotherapy Services input with the SaeboReach/SaeboFlex
- Two hour long Saebo class sessions run by our Physiotherapy Technicians
